2nd Mate.  The ship was part of the RRDF and was broken out for Operation Desert Storm.  We sailed to Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia carrying military cargo.  We passed through Suez the night the bombing of Bagdad began and weathered a scudd missile attack in Ad Dammam and then sailed to Okinawa to load bombs.  When the war ended, we anchored in Singapore.
